Our 6 compost piles have come a long way! Here, I teach you how to turn a wet pile that's just now getting itself unfrozen after a long winter's nap. There's a bit of upper body work, but if you work the whole pile, from every angle, you can do a good job of turning it. Then, the trick is turning the pile every few days until it starts heating up in the middle -- my favorite part!
